Josh Manton

CEO / Chief Software Architect

Josh founded Kanban with the idea of creating a company that specializes in building great software and digital experiences. As the Chief Software Architect, Josh is focused on the architecture and development of ecommerce and content-rich, dynamically driven websites. Prior to creating Kanban, Josh was the director of engineering and director of technology at Molecular/Isobar and Greater Than One, respectively, developing breakthrough applications and managing both the development and quality assurance teams. Josh began his career at RGA, where he served in progressively more senior engineering roles, ending his tenure there as tech lead. In his role as a software architect, Josh created and implemented solutions for a diverse group of clients, including Nikon, IBM, Avaya, AIG, Hilton, Merck, Novartis and Ernst & Young.

Josh holds a dual degree in computer science and mathematics from Long Island University.

Philip Wisniewski

EVP, Client & Market Development

For over 20 years, Philip has developed and managed strategic relationships with premier brands to deliver content-centric digital marketing and web development initiatives. Applying a mix of digital strategy, client service and business acumen, Philip can often be found at industry events like Gilbane, Intelligent Content and Confab, evangelizing the promise of one-to-one interactive relationships between brands and their audiences, enabled through a foundation of software development and content engineering. Before joining Kanban, Philip was VP of business development at iCrossing, a global full-service interactive agency. Prior to iCrossing, Philip was VP & managing director at Molecular, a web design and development digital consultancy acquired by Isobar. He has driven business impact for such notable brands as Aetna, AIG, Boost Mobile, Equinox, Ernst & Young, Gillette, Humana, Kaspersky Lab, MetLife, Nikon, T Rowe Price, Time and TracFone Wireless.

Philip holds a B.A. degree in political science and Public Law from Alfred University. When not playing dad to his two kids, he enjoys skiing, mountain biking, and golf.

Anthony Wilson

EVP, Strategy & Delivery

Anthony is a strategic leader with hands-on experience in eCommerce, content management, and digital marketing. As head of strategy, he guides Kanban’s clients to align business vision with technology investment, bridging the often disparate worlds of marketing and IT. He is a passionate, pragmatic leader capable of driving large, complex, multi-disciplined teams. Before joining Kanban, he was vice president at Bridgeline Digital, an ecommerce and content management software platform, where he led delivery, strategy and product management. Previous to that, he held several engineering and management roles at Molecular, culminating in director of services at Molecular NY. During his tenure at Molecular and Bridgeline, Anthony worked with clients such as UPS, Guardian Life, MFS, BCBS, HP, Nikon, Medtronic & Analog Devices. He began his career at Datacube, where he spent 7 years as a software engineer and eventually department manager.

Anthony holds a B.S. degree in electrical engineering with a concentration in computer engineering from Northeastern University. When not at his desk or with clients, he dreams of having the time to work on his most delayed project, his Triumph Spitfire.

Karen Peterson

Director, Specifications & Quality Assurance

Karen has over 15 years of experience delivering large-scale interactive programs, designing digitalexperiences and implementing quality assurance best practices. Before joining Kanban, she drove the user experience for complex websites and online applications at Digitas and Molecular/Isobar, working with brands such as American Express, Starwood Hotels, Samsung, Pfizer, IBM, Wolters-Kluwer, and TIAA-CREF. Karen began her career as a technical editor, writing software user manuals. Karen decided that if users need a manual to use the software, then the software is poorly designed. Since then, she has written thousands of pages of back-end and front-end developer specifications & test scripts to ensure a quality, well-designed product.

Karen graduated summa cum laude from Bowling Green State University with a B.A. in scientific & technical communication and concentrations in math, physics and creative writing. Weekly, Karen works as a Certified Music Practitioner, playing therapeutic harp music at the bedside of hospital patients.
